Located in Loveland, OH Salary: $50-$65hrCeramic Materials and Additive Manufacturing Engineer -ContractLocation: Loveland, OHCompensation: $50-$65hrRequirements:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field5-10+ years of experience in ceramic processing, additive manufacturing, or powder-based systemsStrong knowledge of ceramic materials, high-temperature behavior, binder chemistry, and thermal processing methodsHands-on experience with binder jet or similar additive manufacturing technologiesFamiliarity with process control methodologies and Design of Experiments (DOE)Preferred: Experience with ceramic moldscores for investment casting and Ni-based superalloys (e.g., IN718, Rene alloys)Background in aerospace or regulated environments, printheadfluid systems, and scaling additive processes to production preferredResponsibilities:Develop and optimize ceramic additive manufacturing processes, including binder jet printing and slurry-basedSLADLP systems for molds and coresDefine and control critical process parameters such as binder behavior, powder characteristics, and layerrecoating conditionsLead development of high-temperature binder systems, including debinding, burnout performance, and compatibility with superalloy castingImprove print quality by enhancing surface finish, dimensional accuracy, and reducing defects (e.g., warping, delamination, streaking)Establish and refine post-processing methods including drying, curing, debinding, and sintering or infiltration strategiesCollaborate cross-functionally to ensure mold performance, thermal resistance, and minimal interaction with molten alloysDrive scale-up from R&D to production, including throughput optimization, yield improvement, equipment qualification, and troubleshooting process issues#SRGDHExpress Office: Cincinnati (Northwest) 3551 Springdale RoadCincinnati, OH 45251
