Job Title: CDL Driver Location: New York City Employment Type: Full-Time Job Overview: As a DFTA CDL Driver, you’ll play a vital role in supporting the health and well-being of seniors. This position requires reliability, compassion, and a strong sense of responsibility. Key Responsibilities: Daily route sheet and care service reservation/Friendly visiting contribution record Weekly mileage, fuel log and maintenance check record Transportation monthly record or column Group transportation log Follow emergency protocols when necessary Load and secure delivery items in the company vehicle Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and loading areas Report any discrepancies or concerns to the supervisor Required Qualification: Provide door-to-door transportation services for eligible clients, including older adults and individuals, some with disabilities. Valid NYC CDL driver’s license Minimum 1 year of NYC driving experience Familiarity with NYC roadways and traffic laws Ability to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods Strong interpersonal and communication skills Assist clients with boarding and alighting from the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort.
