Hours and Days: 2nd ShiftMonday Through Friday3:00 PM to 11:00 PMJob Description: Per Mar Security Services is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Security Officer to support a client site undergoing building renovations. This role will primarily focus on fire watch duties, ensuring the safety of the premises during construction activities.Key Responsibilities:Conduct hourly patrols (rounds) throughout designated areas of the buildingMonitor for potential fire hazards, safety risks, or large leaksMaintain a strong awareness of surroundings and report any concerns immediatelyAccurately document patrols and incidents in written reportsEnsure compliance with all safety procedures and site protocolsRequirements:Excellent attention to detailStrong written communication skillsAbility to walk frequently and remain active throughout the shiftDependable, responsible, and accountablePunctual with a strong commitment to attendance and reliabilityAbility to work independently and follow instructionsPreferred Qualities:Prior security or patrol experience (not required but a plus)Professional and responsible demeanorPass background checkMust pass on-site drug test at time of hireMust be 18 years of age or olderMust possess the values important to Per Mar Security – Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and AccountabilityStrong attention to detailMust be able to be professional in all settings, maintain open communication with the Operations Manager, and be able to learn quicklyMust be able to obtain a DSPS Private Security Person licenseMust be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigationMust not have any felonies per DSPS Licensing requirements
