Role Overview: Join a team that embraces your passion for working with people — mentoring them as they achieve personal and professional goals while delivering exceptional service in a healthcare environment. Sodexo is seeking a Retail Dining Manager for Cooper University Hospital, a 635-bed academic medical center and the leading health system in South Jersey. Cooper provides comprehensive primary, specialty, tertiary, and urgent care services across a dynamic healthcare campus. This leader will oversee multiple retail outlets, including a main cafeteria, four coffee kiosks, and grab-and-go concepts. The ideal candidate is a hands-on retail operator with healthcare experience who thrives in fast-paced environments and is driven to increase sales, elevate service, and develop strong frontline teams.Note: A valid driver’s license is required (weekly travel between retail locations). What You'll Do: Lead and develop approximately 32 frontline team membersOversee daily operations across the cafeteria, coffee kiosks, and additional retail outletsEnsure employees have proper equipment, inventory, and resources to meet operational standardsDrive brand standards compliance and fully implement required retail programs and toolsManage cash handling processes and daily financial controlsOversee department HACCP and safety programs to maintain regulatory complianceImplement frontline training programs and support team developmentManage opening and closing procedures across retail operationsMonitor daily operational standards, productivity, and sales performanceUtilize data analytics and Sodexo retail programs to drive revenue growthPartner with hospital leadership to maintain strong client relationships What We Offer: Compensation is fair and equitable, partially determined by a candidate's education level or years of relevant experience.
