Direct Hire : This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. CDL-A Regional Direct Hire Driver Details:  Schedule: Driver will work Sun-Fri during peak season and Mon-Fri on off season / usually 2nd shift start times / regional & local routes / drivers will complete 3-4 layovers per week on average during peak season (spring & summer) and 2-3 during off-season. Pay: $75k-$90k per year Route Type: Regional Freight / Load Type: Wholesale nursery/landscape supplies. plants, flowers, herbs, vegetables, etc    Equipment: CDL-A tractor trailer, dry van & reefer, automatic Handling: Light touch CDL-A Direct Hire Driver Minimum Requirements:  License: CDL-A   Experience: at least 1-2 years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.  Endorsements: None Equipment Experience: CDL-A tractor trailer experience,  Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements CDL-A Driver Responsibilities:  Safely operate equipment on regional or local routes Transport wholesale nursery products to landscapers, landscape contractors & architects, independent garden centers, and distributors/re-wholesalers in accordance with DOT and company safety standards Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and paperwork Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations Light touch position, drivers will assist with loading/unloading as needed.
