Join the team at Hersheypark Camping Resort, campground located a few miles down the road from Hersheypark amusement park that features log and deluxe cabins, tent sites, and partial and full-hookup sites. This position is responsible for maintaining clean and safe conditions of the buildings and grounds at the Hersheypark Camping Resort. Maintenance I employees will have the opportunity to progress to Maintenance II & III positions respectively based on experience and skill level. Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job): Filling Propane & RV Tanks* Stocking and maintaining firewood supply in the woodshed to capacity*  Stocking and maintaining firewood and fire starter kindling stocked in the store area* Stocking and maintaining store ice machine to capacity* Empty trash and recycle containers around the property including public spaces, patios, bathhouses, and parking areas* Cleaning fire pits & picking up trash* Maintain clean and safe grounds conditions around the patio, barn, and pool areas *  Assisting Maintenance II & III with tasks as needed Assist Grounds Maintenance with groundskeeping tasks (to include weeding and watering) as needed  Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or older Must have a valid driver’s license Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of tools in the fields of lighting, electricity, plumbing  Ability to operate a tractor and forklift  Ability to drive a golf cart and/ or company vehicle if required Organizational skills Positive, professional employee and guest relations skills Capable of working alone and as a team.  Must be a self-starter Ability to handle multiple priorities at once Ability to understand instructions, both written and verbal Job Demands: Must be able to work second shift hours (2 pm to 10:30 pm or 3 pm to 11:30 pm) including weekdays,  weekends, and holidays. Physical requirements include complete mobility and good physical conditioning, good hearing and vision, and the ability to tolerate heat and work in adverse weather conditions Ability to stand, walk, squat, lift, and climb ladders;  must be able to stand/walk at least 90% of shift Proper footwear must be provided by employee- uniform shirt will be provided Must be able to push/pull/lift a maximum of 60 lbs.
