You will conduct routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance on fire alarm systems and life-safety interfaces, including sprinkler and suppression systems while documenting outcomes and recommendations. You will ensure all work complies with NFPA 72 and local codes, uphold safety standards, and maintain accurate field records. You will communicate clearly with customers and collaborate with cross-functional teams.Required QualificationsAt least 2 years of experience in low voltage electrical systems or an equivalent industry.NICET Level II within two years of start date (non-negotiable).Aptitude for troubleshooting and performing necessary repairs.Strong customer service, organizational, verbal, time-management, and teamwork skills.The ability to learn quickly, have a positive attitude, and the will to go beyond the call of service.Highly detail-oriented, safety-focused, self-starter who can work with little supervision with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines at times.Commitment to following all safety guidelines and procedures.Valid driver’s license and driving record that meet company requirements.Experience with hand tools and multi-meter usage.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Capacity to work in environments that require ladders, scaffolding, aerial lifts, and crawl spaces.Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including weekends; willingness to travel out of town with overnight lodging, as needed.Ability to pass pre-employment background and drug screening.Experience reading/interpreting blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, schematics, and manuals.Willingness to take ownership of your career through ongoing training and collaboration with other departments.EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent requiredHIRING HOURLY RANGE: $17.36-$26.01(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)  This position includes a competitive benefits package.
