Shift: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM Experience: • 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months. • 12 months of Cardiac Cath Lab experience. • Experience with Meditech is preferred. Requirements: • Candidates must have a Louisiana license or compact license (required after submission). • This role may require floating to additional units and locations • Local & travel allowed. Candidates living • COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted. • No current placement allowed at Program: SimpliFi Program - Willis-Knighton Health System. Pre-employment modules may be required for this role. Additional Details: OR RNs only: Application must include either an OR - Circulating or an OR - Scrub skills checklist, in addition to the OR - RN checklist. Required Skills/Experience: - RN: With strong Cath Lab experience, will accept 1st time travelers. - Must be able to scrub/monitor as well as circulate - please decline RN traveler if they are unable to scrub – please include in offer what cases they are comfortable scrubbing - Circulating, scrubbing and/or hemodynamic monitoring. This would be for cardiac & peripheral vascular. We do complex interventional procedures. - Must have seen most of what is on the list, please add in offer any case type the traveler has not done Other skills required - Vasoactive drug administration, sedation administration, critical patient assessment skills, sterile technique, air management, Impella, Rotoblater, IABP, Pnumbra, Laser and lithotripsy atherectomy. Unit/Facility Details: Parking: Free Shift & Scheduling: - On call will be 8-10 day per month. - Monday-Friday - Weekend rotation: RN: minimum – approximately every 3rd weekend - Call required: Rotating. - RN: 2 days a week overnight – 1500 to 0700 - Every 3rd weekend – Friday 1500 to Monday 0700 - What is the call back period? 30 minutes Floating Requirements: - This traveler will float routinely between Willis Knighton Pierremont (Shreveport, LA) and Willis Knighton Bossier (Bossier City, LA). - Required to float between facilities. - Will also be backup for WKMC North – this facility will perform more complicated cases at this facility such as TAVR, mitral valve. 7 days maximum time off 2 references required from within the last 12 months Proof of identification required Certifications: • BLS (Basic Life Support) • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) • NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) Skills Checklist: Yes References: Yes License Type: registered License State: LA Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale Job Details Job Type: Travel Nurse/Patient: 1/1 Shift Type: Day Contract Date: 2026-05-04 Expected Length: 13 weeks Hours per Shift: 8 Shifts per Week: 5
