Your duties and responsibilities may include: Responsible for the application and operation of acute care ventilators used for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilationMust be self-directed in the absence of a full-time Team LeaderMaintain all department and hospital records and enter accurate information into the hospital computer for the therapy as givenSet up/administer all routine and complex respiratory therapy procedures to patients of all ages Requirements:Completion of a Vocational/Technical program or an AMA-approved respiratory care program (Associate Degree); Bachelor’s Degree preferredClear/active Florida Department of Health licensure as a Certified Respiratory TherapistCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationACLS, PALS and NRP within 6 months of hireFrequent standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling and moving equipmentBenefitsHCA Florida Northside Hospital, offers a total rewards package that supports the health, life, career and retirement of our colleagues.
