This role involves monitoring stock levels, receiving and storing deliveries, and assisting in inventory audits.  Key Responsibilities:Receiving Deliveries: Inspect and verify incoming shipments for quality and accuracy; document discrepancies.Stock Organization: Organize and store stock in designated areas, ensuring proper labeling and FIFO (First In, First Out) procedures.Waste Reduction: Monitor stock for expiration dates and minimize waste through proper storage and rotation practices.Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and service staff to forecast needs and ensure timely restocking.Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations regarding food storage and handling.Skills and Other RequirementsMinimum 6 months' experience working in retail or food service environmentHigh school diploma preferredVerbal and written communicationMust be able to read, speak, and understand the English language in order to communicate with guests and receive instructionsExperience in dealing with problems involving guest serviceFood handlers permit, as required by lawBrand certification, as requiredAbility to stand and work in confined spaces Ability to obtain Transport Canada Security ClearanceAbility to lift heavy items (up to 50 lbs) and stand for long periods.Capable of performing tasks in varying temperatures, including cold storage areas. SSP America is an equal opportunity employer.
