Northern Manor Multicare Center is hiring a Recreation Aide in Nanuet, NY. We now offer Daily Pay through a trusted third-party provider giving you faster access to your earnings!DUTIES:Design & implement recreational programs for Residents.Work directly with Residents on units, without direct supervision.Organize and obtain supplies and equipment as requested.Assist recreation specialists & set up program areas as needed.Keep daily attendance and document residents’ participation in activities.Assist residents to program location and return residents to appropriate units.Communicate related information to other individuals directly involved in Resident careBe familiar with established emergency procedures.REQUIREMENTS:Must be upbeat, energetic, enthusiastic, and have a caring personality.Enjoy working with the elderlyExp. with recreation therapy/activities a plusHigh school diploma/equivalentStrong computer skills necessary Ability to work effectively as a team memberStrong organizational and planning skillsAbility to multi-task About us:Northern Manor Multicare Center has been responding to the health care and lifestyle needs of the senior population since 1981.
