Apply today to join our team.Compensation:$24 - $28 hourlyResponsibilities:Adhere to all dental office infection control policies and safety regulations by disinfecting and sterilizing all equipment and instruments after useIf you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.Equip and prepare treatment rooms for examination and procedures by laying out necessary sterilized equipment, dental instruments, anesthetics, dental supplies, and materialsAssist dentists and dental hygienists during any procedures or examinations by handing off dental instruments, providing suction, and ensuring chair-side accessibility to the teamProvide postoperative instructions with methods for infection control of the patients' teeth and gums after procedures, answer any questions they may have about dental hygiene, and schedule appointments for patient care follow upWelcome patient and explain dental care treatment plans so they feel comfortable during their appointmentTake and document vital signs and medical history for patient recordsQualifications:Associate's Degree or a certification from a college or technical school training program accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation is requiredProficiency with computers, and experience updating patient histories, and with dental software is necessaryUp-to-date BLS/CPR certification is required Superb interpersonal skills, customer service, organization, and excellent communication skills are desiredPrevious dental assisting experience as a registered dental assistant or certified dental assistant (2 years) is necessaryAbout CompanyWe are a very progressive specialty practice, and we have a terrific team.
