Apply today to be part of a team that values innovation and employee success.Compensation:$25 - $35 hourlyResponsibilities:Source and remediate mechanical problems and malfunction codes that are identified in the vehicle's mechanical systems, electrical system, and electronic systemsContinue learning and growing technical skills and opportunitiesTeam up with managers and other mechanics to diagnose and service cars coming in for auto repairsEnsure accurate record-keeping for vehicle repairs, maintenance, and service historyEncourage and facilitate preventive maintenance work such as oil changes, air conditioning service, flushing, brake replacement, tire rotation, and moreMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate/OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety procedures. Immediately reports any discrepancies to the Fleet ManagerEnsures compliance with all fleet processesUnder general supervision, performs preventive maintenance services and inspects, diagnoses, and repairs vehicles and equipmentUtilizes vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairsPerforms service calls for emergency breakdownsConducts safety checks on vehiclesCompletes required paperwork utilizing the fleet maintenance software program associated with repairing vehicles, documenting parts usage, and accounting for repair timesReviews, completes, or assigns repairs identified on Driver Vehicle Inspection ReportsMaintains a clean, safe work area in compliance with Corporate / OSHA Standards, and performs all work in accordance with established safety proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:Good manual dexterity and effective use of hand tools and other equipment needed for vehicle repairsPreferred education is an associate's degree from a technical school or relevant automotive program and/or ASE certificationPossess a high school diploma or GED equivalentMust be an effective communicator who maintains a solid work ethicCertificates, Licenses, Registrations, or Other Requirements:Valid driver's license and must have a clean driving record. (CDL preferred)Must be at least 19 years of ageLegally eligible to work in the United StatesAbility to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodationsSuccessfully complete pre-employment drug screen and background checkPhysical Requirements:Vision: Adequate to enter and read material on computer screens.
