This opportunity promises an invigorating and exciting environment where good work is done so we always look for flexibility and a sense of humor in addition to other valuable traits like intent, hard work, and good communication skills.As a Retail Staff Member, you will be responsible for the following:Educating our customers on the history of Tree House, our philosophy, and our beerCan packing, can sales, and checkout operationSpeedy and accurate draft pours with great care for the productFlavor profile assessment and the ability to guide customers through their decision-making process with ease and efficiency.Assuring clean facilities / Keg line cleaning weeklyOrganizing and assisting with merchandise inventory including log record keepingTirelessly working to maintain the friendly and welcoming atmosphere at Tree HouseMany other retail related tasks as neededApplicant Requirements:Relevant experience in a fast-paced retail environmentRefined and educated beer palateImpeccable communication and customer service skillsBartending Experience with TIPS certification strongly preferredAble to push, pull, bend, and lift up to 50lbs consistently and be on your feet standing/walking for the majority of your shiftYou are self-motivated and able to work autonomously, with a focused and hardworking attitudeA quick learner who is able to work with minimal or no supervisionAbility to multitask and work coolly and professionally in time sensitive situationsYou are not afraid to speak your mind and share ideasAbility to troubleshoot issues and/or pivot plans quickly in order to coordinate corrective actions neededDemonstrated meticulous attention to detail in processing paymentsUnderstanding and knowledge of the needs of artisan product consumers / broad craft beer knowledge & passionDesire to learn about the history of Tree House, our vision, and our beer; longstanding knowledge of Tree House's history and beer archive is a plusFlexible schedule and a willingness to work nights and weekends as needed to ensure coverage and that retail needs are metRequiredPreferredJob IndustriesOther
