Job Title: AssemblerSalary: $18.00 + Shift: 1st Shift, M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm Summary: General Assembly duties may include building/finishing our amazing in-house products as well as components of those from many of our clients. Utilizing hand tools, power tools, machines such as forklifts. Job Responsibilities:Execute daily work instructions received from shop manager/supervisor in a timely mannerKeep manufacturing areas free of debris and dirt, and set out or put away toolsSafely operate a forklift to handle materials and complete workBuilding and/or finishing a variety of in-house products utilizing hand and power tools Qualifications / Requirements:Math Skills: Basic math skillsFamiliar with the function of hand tools related to grinding/deburring materialsGood attention to detail and self-motivatedAccurately read a tape measure and micrometerAble to work independently through given instruction or as an active member of a teamManual dexterity to use hand held tools and shop machinesPositive attitude and work ethicExcellent oral and written communication skillsExperience in general labor/manufacturing and/or metal fabrication preferredAbility to understand blueprints documentsKnowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment; preferred in JobBOSSMust be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
