Job DescriptionThis is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the United States.This position will be responsible for maintenance and management of numerous MAC lists, compliance with state MAC bill requirements, as well as leading a team to help ensure company targets and client and pharmacy commitments and requirements are being met. Responsibilities will include:- Strategic and accurate MAC price setting and implementation - Compliance with existing and new MAC bill requirements, including partnering with Legal, Compliance, and Regulatory Affairs - Developing, leading, and directing a team that supports MAC pricing and MAC bill requirements - Address and resolve MAC related inquiries- Identify and implement process improvements and automation- Manage, monitor and maintain a consistent, financially-sound MAC management and MAC appeal review process, taking into consideration product bioequivalence and product substitution criteria when establishing MAC prices, making alternate NDC recommendations, etc.- Develop new efficiencies, protocols and processes to improve MAC management and MAC appeal reviews to meet client and state law requirements as well as company goalsThis position may require some occasional (5%) travel to attend meetings.Required Qualifications- Licensed pharmacist in good standing- 3+ years clinical managed care pharmacy/administrative experience, completion of a PGY1 managed care residency or equivalent combination of experience and training- Knowledge and experience with drug information and generic drug pricing - Knowledge of generic drug substitution laws - Proficiency with MS Office, including Excel- Excellent attention to detail - Solid analytical and investigative abilities - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to multi-task and work in a dynamic environmentCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
