Job DescriptionCandidate may be required to travel once a year for finance team meeting. The Financial Analyst will be a part of the Pharmacy Services Segment Financial Planning and Analysis team supporting specialty pharmacy operations. This role allows you to gain valuable financial planning & analysis experience within the Pharmacy and Healthcare space at an industry-leading company. The candidate will have the opportunity to work in a newly created position as part of a highly skilled and supportive team reporting to a Sr Manager.Primary responsibilities include:- The support of specialty operations annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting of operating expense- Monthly close responsibilities including results reporting, expense analysis, variance analysis and correcting discrepancies through journal entry creation- Support existing reporting and the build of ad hoc reports and analysis that requires strong excel skills, including understanding of complex formulas.- Work to improve efficiency and accuracy of data collection in current reporting as well as developed reporting reflecting critical insights into business trends as tools for operations leadership Candidates should also:- Ability to work with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast paced dynamic environment with tight deadlines- Problem solve and think broadly and creatively- Quick learner with time management and problem-solving skills- Possess ability to be a self-starter and to work with a level of independence- Ability to be flexible, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize accordingly and meet deadlinesRequired Qualifications1+ years of relevant finance experience ( internship experience acceptable)1+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel with the ability to work with large data sets using functions such as pivot tables, vlookup, sumproduct, filters etc. are requiredCOVID RequirementsCOVID-19 Vaccination RequirementCVS Health requires certain colleagues to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (including any booster shots if required), where allowable under the law, unless they are approved for a reasonable accommodation based on disability, medical condition, religious belief, or other legally recognized reasons that prevents them from being vaccinated.
