Job Title: NP/PA CVOR First Assist Location: Winterville, NC Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) with experience in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) as a First Assist. This position will be based in Winterville, NC. Key Responsibilities: Provide assistance during cardiovascular surgical procedures in the operating room. Assist the surgical team in ensuring optimal patient outcomes. Participate in pre-operative and post-operative care activities. Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver quality patient care. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation. Requirements: Current NP or PA license in the state of North Carolina (or willing to obtain). Certification as a CVOR First Assist is preferred. Prior experience working in a CVOR setting. Strong knowledge of cardiovascular surgical procedures and techniques. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work well in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
