About the Position:Group is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Surgery Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a well-established, hospital-employed surgical group. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative team serving a robust referral base across 13 counties, supported by strong primary care and cardiology networks.Position Highlights:Hospital-employed full-time positionJoin a team of 3 board-certified Cardiovascular Surgeons and 3 experienced Physician AssistantsResponsibilities include:Assisting in the operating roomPerforming vein harvestingFacilitating hospital roundsConducting post-operative clinic visitsExperience in vein harvesting and surgical first-assist is requiredRNFA certification required for Nurse PractitionersAccess to advanced technology including the da Vinci robotic surgical system and Maquet EVH systemShared call rotation of 1:3Office located conveniently on Hospital Campus22 operating rooms, including 2 endovascular and dedicated open-heart suitesFull 24/7 support from cardiology, intensivists, and interventional radiologyLocation Perks:Based in Dothan, Alabama, a city consistently recognized as one of the best places to raise a family and retire.
