Required Skills: Valid license from the Texas Board of Physical Therapy & Occupational Therapy Examiners.Acute care experience is mandatory to ensure effective patient care.Strong understanding of the American Physical Therapy Association Code of Ethics and Practice Guidelines.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and patients.Ability to interpret physician prescriptions accurately and implement appropriate therapy plans.Proficiency in utilizing mechanical, electrical, prosthetic, and orthotic equipment.Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring safety at all times.Nice to Have Skills: Experience working with diverse patient populations or in multiple acute care settings.Ability to mentor and support support staff, volunteers, and students.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.Preferred Education and Experience: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.New graduates are encouraged to apply; prior experience in acute care is preferred.Other Requirements: Must hold a current BLS certification (American Heart Association only).Ability to start as soon as possible.Travel flexibility and ability to adapt to various clinical environments.This full-time, day-shift role (8A-5P, 5 days a week) offers a pay rate of $56.95 per hour, with an hourly bill rate of $85.
