Facility in Pontiac, MI seeking Neonatology APP locums coverage Rates: $140/hr Opportunity Highlights Start Date: ASAP (Ongoing coverage). Schedule: 12-hour shifts ( or ). Note: Requires both night and weekend rotations. Work-Life Balance: No call required. Support: Neonatologist is on-site during day shifts (7 days/week). Autonomy: The APP works autonomously from 1600 to 0800 with a neonatologist available on call. EMR: EPIC. Clinical Scope & Procedures The provider will be responsible for the comprehensive care of neonates, including attendance at high-risk deliveries and stabilization of critically ill newborns. Required Procedures: NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) protocols. Endotracheal Intubation: Securing the airway in respiratory distress. Umbilical Lines: Placement of UVC/UAC for fluid and monitoring access. Ventilatory Support: Management of mechanical ventilation and non-invasive support. Delivery Attendance: Attendance at specified newborn deliveries for immediate stabilization. Provider Requirements Board Status: Board Certified by a national organization (e.g., NCC for NNPs) Required. Experience: Must have prior experience in a NICU/Neonatology setting; no new grads Required. Licensure: Active Michigan (MI) State License Required. Certifications: Active BLS and NRP Required. Documentation: A Self-Query NPDB report (pulled within the last 30 days) must be provided at the time of presentation. Conversion: 25k conversion fee required.
