Assignment Type: Locum tenens (Contract) - locum tenens anesthesia / Anesthesiology jobs Start Date: May 1, 2026 Duration: 13 weeks (flexible contract length) Shifts per Week: 5 Shift Duration: 8-hour days Hours per Week: 36 Weekly Estimated Pay: $5,940 - $6,260 Credentialing Timeframe: 30-60 days Electronic Medical Record: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred) Required Qualifications - CRNA / Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist Active CRNA certification and valid Texas license or eligibility to obtain Texas licensure (Texas CRNA jobs) Minimum 1 year of recent CRNA experience in a hospital or surgical setting providing general anesthesia for adults Comfortable working within a supervision model; strong teamwork, communication, and clinical judgment Epic EMR experience preferred Commitment to patient safety and adherence to anesthesia clinical protocols Core Responsibilities - Anesthesia, Perioperative Care Provide general anesthesia care for adult surgical patients across multiple specialties: general surgery, GYN, urology, neuro, vascular, orthopedics, and plastics Perform pre-operative assessments and participate in post-anesthesia care as part of a multidisciplinary team Deliver anesthesia under a supervision model; regional techniques (nerve blocks, spinals, epidurals) are welcome but not required Accurately document anesthesia care, medications, and perioperative notes in Epic EMR Follow evidence-based protocols and maintain the highest standards of patient safety and quality of care Why This CRNA Locum Tenens Opportunity?
