Avionics and Aircraft Electrician (15N / 15F)- Transitioning Service MembersSkyBridge Aviation is seeking motivated Avionics Technicians and Aircraft Electricians to support electrical and avionics maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair operations on military and civilian aircraft. This opportunity is designed for transitioning Army 15N Avionics Mechanics, 15F Aircraft Electricians, and other military aviation electrical specialists who are looking to move into the civilian aviation industry. Candidates from active duty, Guard, Reserve, and recently separated backgrounds are encouraged to apply.Position OverviewThe Avionics and Aircraft Electrician performs electrical and avionics maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and system repairs on aircraft. This role supports flightline, maintenance, modification, and production environments while ensuring aircraft safety, reliability, and operational readiness. Candidates may come from flightline, production, phase maintenance, or heavy maintenance environments.Key Responsibilities Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on aircraft electrical and avionics systems. Troubleshoot electrical wiring, avionics components, and aircraft systems. Install, remove, and repair wiring harnesses, connectors, and electrical components. Support avionics system testing, inspections, and operational checks. Assist with navigation, communication, flight control, and electrical system maintenance. Use technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics to complete assigned tasks. Perform continuity testing, wire routing, and electrical system diagnostics. Document work performed in accordance with maintenance procedures. Maintain safe work practices and follow quality and maintenance standards. Support team-based maintenance and operational readiness activities.Military Backgrounds EncouragedArmy 15N Avionics Mechanic.Army 15F Aircraft Electrician.Other military aviation electrical or avionics maintenance experience.Basic Qualifications Military avionics, electrical, or aircraft systems experience preferred. Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude. Ability to read basic wiring diagrams or willingness to learn. Ability to work in a team-oriented maintenance environment. Must be eligible to work in the United States.Preferred ExperienceExperience with aircraft wiring, avionics systems, and electrical troubleshooting.Flightline, phase, production, or heavy maintenance experience.Navigation, communication, and electrical system maintenance experience.Deployment or operational aviation maintenance experience.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift, bend, climb, and work in confined spaces.Ability to stand for extended periods in hangar or flightline environments.
