Position Type: Hourly Date Posted: 3/24/2026 Location: District   Additional Information: Show/Hide District Courier Hourly Location: Burlington County Institute of Technology & Burlington County Special Services - Shared Position Summary BCIT & BCSSSD is seeking a reliable and responsible District Courier to provide timely pickup and delivery services across all district locations. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations by ensuring the safe and efficient transport of mail, materials, and equipment. Qualifications * Valid Driver's License (required) * Minimum of three (3) years of safe driving experience * High School Diploma or equivalent * Ability to lift at least 50 pounds * Strong organizational and time management skills * Ability to work independently and follow assigned delivery schedules Hourly Rate: $15.50 per hour Reports To: School Business Administrator Performance Responsibilities * Provide pickup and delivery of internal mail to all district sites on an assigned schedule * Perform pre-delivery sorting, inspection, and determine appropriate routing for mail and packages * Deliver special packages, books, and school materials as needed * Assist Transportation, Facilities, and the School Business Administrator as assigned * Support business office functions, including banking-related tasks * Transport furniture and equipment between school locations * Assist maintenance and operations crews as needed * Respond to after-hours emergencies when requested * Deliver Board of Education agendas and materials to board members * Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor Additional Information * Must pass criminal history background check * Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status required * Must be able to meet physical demands of the position EEO/AA Employer: BCIT & BCSSSD prohibits discrimination based on race, color, religion, national origin, citizenship, age, sex (including pregnancy), disability, genetic information, or any other protected status under federal, state, or local law.
