RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: * Correctly performs DOT & PM Inspections on trailers * All trailer preventative maintenance and repair * Tags all warranty parts with appropriate information to include cause of failure, mileage and removal date. * Responsible for the cleanliness of work area, keeping spills, grease and debris to a minimum. * Completes all repair orders in a timely manner, ensuring all labor and parts are charged to the appropriate unit. * Basic computer skills to input vehicle information and diagnose equipment * Basic tools required * Trailer electrical work * Tests equipment for proper operations * Fix and repair tires, as necessary * Welding and fabrication of steel and aluminum, as necessary * Keeps work areas clean and free of clutter. * Must have current valid driver's license. * Performs additional duties and special projects as needed or directed.
