Job Position: Certified Flaggers (flaggers card required)Position Summary:We are seeking reliable and safety-focused certified flaggers to support construction and roadway projects by directing traffic and ensuring the safety of workers, pedestrians, and the public. This role is essential in maintaining smooth traffic flow while adhering to all safety regulations and project requirements.Certified Flagger Duties:Direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic using approved signs, signals, and hand gesturesSet up, maintain, and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barrels, barricades, and signageCommunicate clearly with crew members, supervisors, and the public to ensure safe traffic movementFollow traffic control plans and comply with local, state, and federal safety regulationsRemain alert at all times to changing traffic conditions and potential hazardsAssist with general labor tasks as needed when traffic control duties are minimalMaintain a professional and courteous attitude with the public and jobsite personnelCertified Flagger Qualifications:Valid Flagger / Traffic Control certification (or ability to obtain)Ability to stand for extended periods and work in various weather conditionsStrong attention to safety and detailClear verbal communication skillsDependable, punctual, and able to follow instructionsPrevious construction or traffic control experience preferred but not requiredPhysical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for long periodsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditionsLength of position:This is a temporary position with next day pay.
