Local candidates will do the interview in-person at clients office. They will have multiple day to prepare for the official simulator flight test. Relocation candidates will be shipped a SIM evaluation kit. 30 minute - 1/hr. Behavioural video call with a client's manager. Job Description:Drone Operator Role This position is searching for a skilled Part 107 certified operator with extensive experience operating drones via a remote control. The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and test of cutting-edge safety-related technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safety-oriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cutting-edge technology. This individual will also conduct operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences. Day to Day: Remote control drone piloting Data Collection Working a 2nd shift - 3 pm to 11:30 pm Drive to off-site work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided). Work variable shifts and schedules, including weekends when applicable. Schedule changes frequently depending on certain daylight conditions. Overtime may be required and approved based on work assignment/deliverables. Mission planning, lightweight maintenance duties. Must Haves: 14 CFR Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate. 2+ years of commercial drone piloting experience (bigger commercial drones). Strong pre-flight planning process Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift up to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
