About 8Fleet:8Fleet is hiring! 8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets. With our anticipated growth, we're searching for a passionate Driver Growth Manager to join and grow with our team. You'll be integral to the team and focused on increasing our driver population as we expand rapidly!About the Role:We are looking for a world class Driver Growth Marketer who is hungry to help scale 8Fleet to the next phase of our journey.This is not a traditional recruiting role. You will own the strategy behind driver acquisition while also managing the team responsible for converting applicants into active drivers.You'll be responsible for both top-of-funnel growth (where drivers come from) and mid-funnel execution (how effectively we convert them). This includes setting goals, improving processes, and ensuring the team operates with consistency and accountability.You'll work closely with the Operations to make driver growth more predictable, efficient, and aligned with fleet needs.This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading teams, improving systems, and driving measurable results.Key Responsibilities:Own the driver acquisition and lifecycle marketing strategy across paid channels, SEO, email, job boards, social media, referrals, and local partnerships to drive measurable growth in our driver baseSet weekly and monthly hiring targets based on operational needs and ensure the team consistently meets themManage and coach the team responsible for driver outreach, follow-ups, and onboarding coordinationPartner with Operations to ensure driver growth aligns with fleet demand and service qualityImprove how applicants move through the funnel - from application to onboarding completionIdentify where candidates drop off and implement changes to improve conversion and speedEstablish clear processes, expectations, and performance standards for the teamTrack key metrics such as applicant volume, contact rate, onboarding completion, and time-to-hireDevelop paid advertising budgets, tools, and resources to continuously improve marketing ROIContinuously test and improve messaging, incentives, and outreach strategiesBuild a more predictable and repeatable driver growth engine over timeSuccessful Candidates Will Bring:3-6+ years of experience in growth, operations, recruiting, or a similar roleExperience managing or leading a team, with a focus on performance and accountabilityFamiliarity with CRM, ATS, or candidate tracking toolsStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workflows at onceComfort working with metrics and using data to improve outcomesA hands-on, problem-solving mindset - you're willing to jump in and fix what's not workingClear communication skills and ability to align cross-functional teamsCompensation:Base Salary Range: $110k-$130k plus annual bonus and strong stock option awardEqual Opportunity Employer:8Fleet is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity at our company.
