This is a Substitute Bus Monitor position for the 2025-2026 school year Pay is $15.25 an hour. See attached Job Description for assignment details Primary Purpose: Ride buses and help driver ensure safe and orderly transportation of students with disabilities. Qualifications: * High School Diploma * Clear and valid Texas Commercial Driver's License * Either or both endorsements preferred, not required: Passenger (P) School Bus (S) Special Knowledge/Skills: * Must be 18 years of age * Ability to pass U.S. Department of Transportation alcohol and drug tests and annual physical exam * Ability to complete required bus driver safety training * Ability to follow written and verbal instructions * Ability to manage student behavior * Ability to communicate effectively with others * Ability to operate safety equipment and adaptive equipment Substitute Bus Monitors are not assigned a route or regularly scheduled duties. Will be contacted as needed. This classification does not accrue benefits.
