This role requires the skilled operation of telehandlers, boom lifts, and forklifts to execute tasks with precision at both the warehouse and active job sites. The Logistics Specialist bridges the gap between the warehouse and the field to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction. The Blueprint for Success - Key Responsibilities: * Material handling organizing, monitoring of inventory and safely load and unload construction materials from trucks and delivery vehicles. * Review overall project needs and manage delivery schedules, load dates, and equipment requirements. * Palletize material order lists, wrap/stage materials, review instructions for direct-shipped materials, and follow all necessary protocols. * Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to manage materials efficiently and safely. * Transport materials to designated areas on the job site. * Ensure materials are stored and stacked properly to prevent damage and ensure accessibility. * Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor. * Assist with site preparation activities, including clearing debris and setting up materials. * Maintain a clean and organized job site to ensure safety and efficiency. * Experience in using warehouse equipment (eg. forklifts, pallet jacks). * Utilize appropriate tools and equipment to manage materials efficiently and safely. * Perform routine maintenance and inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation. * Establish control measures for material roofing load accuracy. * Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required for specific tasks. * Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries. * Reviewing daily progress to ensure that deadlines are met. * Collaborate with other departments to ensure driven results. * Additional duties as needed. Tools for the Job: Required: * High school diploma or GED * Material handling knowledge and best practices * Proven experience operative heavy equipment * Proven experience in warehouse management * Experience with voice picking systems or RF devices * The ability to work in different environmental conditions. * Ability to multitask in a fast paced environment * Organizational skills * Valid Driver's License. Preferred: * Experience with Google and Microsoft Outlook. * OSHA certifications * CDL
