Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking an Assistant Controller to assist their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting pay rate of $60.00 to $70.00 per hour. Job Responsibilities: Prepare and deliver periodic financial reports that align with accounting standards.Contribute to the development of financial models and strategic planning documents for projects and funds.Manage treasury operations and oversee corporate cash flow activities.Facilitate investor communications and reporting, including updates for institutional and high-net-worth stakeholders.Collaborate with external accountants, tax advisors, and audit teams to ensure compliance and accuracy. Requirements: At least 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within commercial real estate.Familiarity with financial software platforms, especially Yardi and advanced Excel functions.Strong background in financial reporting, analysis, and technical accounting.Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced, evolving environment.Proven track record of managing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail. Qualifications: CPA certification is preferred, along with a solid academic foundation in accounting or finance.Demonstrates ownership and accountability across financial operations and reporting.Comfortable working collaboratively with internal teams and external partners.Brings creativity, energy, and integrity to problem-solving and decision-making.Exhibits curiosity and resourcefulness, with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities.
