Pay Rate: $17.00- $19.00/hr Hours: Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Friday; Hours vary between 6:00AM - 3:30PM. Typically an 8 hour shift. Mandatory overtime as required. Location: Charlotte, NC Temp to hire Lockbox Machine Operator Responsible for operating extraction, scanning and mail sorting equipment within the Lockbox. Role ensures accurate, timely handling of incoming mail and payments. Other duties may be assigned. Key Responsibilities: Operate and maintain mail sort, extraction and scanning equipment. OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX Falcon, OPEX MPS 40 Receive, sort and prepare incoming mail for processing in accordance with established procedures Monitor machine performance identifying jams, misfeeds or equipment issues, resolving or escalating as required Ensure all work is completed within established production deadlines Perform basic quality checks to verify accuracy Follow all compliance, audit and operational procedures Support general mailroom functions as required Ability to lift/carry 10-15 lbs as needed (trays of mail) Promotes a culture of collaboration and engagement Meet established performance metrics for productivity and quality Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to operate machinery in a fast paced production environment Basic troubleshooting and problem solving skills Good organizational and time management skills Ability to follow detailed procedures Team oriented Qualifications: -High school diploma -1-3 years of Lockbox, Mailroom or production environment preferred -OPEX Falcon, OPEX 150/IEM, OPEX 40 or similar mail, extraction, scanning equipment preferred Benefits: (employee contribution) Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
