Job Description The High-Lift Airport Driver will drive goods and other merchandise from one facility to Nashville Airport Tarmac.Duties/Responsibilities: Gather all necessary equipment for assigned flights. Loads delivery vehicle with parcels scheduled for delivery. Interact with Customer Service Team Members as well as flight attendants and other airport operations members to identify and resolve complications daily. Comply with standard operating procedures (SOP) in regard to driving, position the unit at aircraft, secure work platform, loading and unloading carts on and off the aircrafts. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Must be able to drive and operate a 16' Box truck. Ability to drive safely and follow instructions without direct supervision. Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. Ability to maintain basic logs and records. Able to always remain professional and courteous. Able to work weekends and holidays. Must have flexibility in your schedule. Education and Experience: Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Valid SIDA airport badge. Must be able to pass background check. Physical Requirements: Must be able to push and pull up to 50 pounds regularly. Must be able to load and unload carts in various types of weather. Must be able to stand for long periods of time, push, pull and bend. Able to work with heights 30' lift from ground level.
