Position Summary:The Rail Operations Manager primary responsibilities are to plan, direct, or coordinate the operations of an Rail Environmental Field Service Center. Responsibilities include implementing corporate policies, managing daily operations, planning developmental strategies as it relates to evaluating the competition and bidding on new contracts. Job Responsibilities: Develop and grow the office into a recognized regional player in the Environmental Services industryManage day-to-day operations of the assigned service office to ensure quality and budget performanceMonitor budget, operating expenses and established KPIs and adjust processes and procedures to achieve desired performanceDirect the operation in safety, compliance, optimal equipment utilization, equipment maintenance, efficient labor, and material costsPrepare and participate in regular P&L reviews to ensure that the operation is achieving budgeted and profitable growthOversee personnel, including selecting, coaching, disciplining, training, and evaluating team member performanceBe available after normal office hours and weekends for emergency response situationsReview project paperwork, timecards, drivers' logs, and invoices including, monitoring hours worked to maintain compliance with company and DOT policiesEnviroServe is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
