Status: Seasonal, Part-timeOverviewThe Bait & Tackle Crew is front-line staff for the overall guest experience of Lake Gregory. They areresponsible for the day to day Bait & Tackle shop operations, rentals, and cleaning and maintainingpublic spaces, all with a focus on excellent customer service and hospitality.Essential Functions1. Rent and maintain equipment such as kayaks, row boats, and fishing poles.2. Maintain general cleanliness of the Bait & Tackle restrooms, dock, shop, & vessels.3. Use the cash register and follow all cash handling procedures accurately.4. Greet and assist guests, answering questions about the park, fishing, rules and regulations, andthe greater Crestline area.5. Recommend and sell bait, tackle, other fishing equipment, and various snacks and othermerchandise.Additional Functions1. Maintain and perform minor repairs on fishing equipment and vessels.2. Assists with ordering bait and tackle supplies and communicates with vendors as needed.3. Safe operation of various minor equipment and tools.4. Groundskeeping inside and outside of Bait & Tackle shop.5. Assist guests with fishing equipment and techniques.6. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.Major Competency Areas1.
