We are looking for aggressive, forward thinking, and highly motivated candidates to manage in this fast-paced environment. If you are looking for a rewarding career, this Dispatcher opportunity may be right for you.Duties Include, But Are Not Limited To:Dispatching a team of about 40 P&D DriversRelaying critical information between drivers and our vendors / terminal managersReview and revise driver routes to increase efficiencies while monitoring a changing workloadBeing aware of freight that is in transitAssist and report issues that drivers face when they're on the road (i.e. flat tire)Ensure facility Key Performance Indicator (KPI) goals are met and/or exceededMaintain a safe work environment compliant with state and federal DOT/OSHA standardsProvide / support a culture of excellence in quality of product to internal and external customersAbility to work Monday- Friday 8am-6pmThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:Experience in a transportation, cross docking, or shipping and receiving environmentStrong leadership qualitiesDesire to surround customer with excellence in serviceHigh aptitude for technologyThe ability to multi-task while being detail orientedExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAn associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferred but not requiredOur employees enjoy a competitive salary and benefits package including: 401(k), paid time off (PTO), Medical/Dental plan, Flexible Spending Account and Life Insurance.
