This is an exciting opportunity to combine cutting-edge drone technology with real-world infrastructure projects that shape communities.What You'll DoAs a Drone Pilot at Trumbull, you'll play a critical role in capturing, analyzing, and delivering high-quality aerial data to support construction planning and execution.Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute weekly drone missions using RTK-enabled UAV systemsCapture high-resolution aerial imagery, video, and photogrammetry dataConduct pre-flight planning and safety checks in compliance with FAA regulationsPerform site mapping, topographic surveys, and volumetric analysisMonitor construction progress and deliver visual reports to project teamsInspect structures, infrastructure, and job sites using drone technologyProcess and analyze data using Pix4D, AgTek, CAD, and related platformsGenerate orthomosaic maps, 3D models, and progress documentationMaintain drone equipment, sensors, batteries, and flight logsCollaborate with project managers, engineers, surveyors, and field teamsEnsure compliance with FAA Part 107, PennDOT, and PA Turnpike regulationsWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who is both technically capable and field-ready-someone who thrives working independently while supporting a larger team.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in GIS, Surveying, Engineering, or related field preferredExperience operating commercial UAV/drone platformsFAA Part 107 certification (or ability to obtain) strongly preferredFamiliarity with photogrammetry, GIS, and mapping softwareExperience with CAD or BIM software is a plusUnderstanding of construction workflows and site safety practicesStrong attention to detail and ability to interpret aerial dataExcellent communication, documentation, and reporting skillsSelf-starter with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilitiesPhysical & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and 50 lbs. frequentlyFrequent standing, walking, bending, and working in outdoor environmentsWork performed in varying weather conditions and at heightsWhy Join Trumbull Corporation?Work on impactful infrastructure projects across the regionBe at the forefront of construction technology and innovationJoin a company known for Safety, Quality, Integrity, Family, and CommunityOpportunities for growth and advancement in a nationally recognized Top 100 ENR contractor Apply TodayTake your career to new heights with Trumbull Corporation.
