Safety, precision, and professionalism are central to every operation we perform.Position SummaryWest Penn Heavy Haul is seeking a Load Securement Professional to support heavy haul and rig move operations. This position is primarily responsible for ensuring all loads are properly secured, inspected, and compliant with DOT regulations prior to transport.In addition to securement duties, this role assists with on-the-ground field activities between loads, including supporting safe work practices and jobsite coordination as needed.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect all loads prior to transport for proper securement, accuracy, and DOT complianceApply DOT load securement regulations and company standards to oversized and overweight loadsIdentify and correct securement issues or hazards before departureInstall, adjust, and remove chains, binders, straps, and other securement devicesDocument load inspections, securement methods, and compliance recordsCommunicate securement requirements and corrections with drivers and supervisorsAssist with general field work during rig moves and between load movementsSupport safe jobsite practices by monitoring conditions and reporting hazardsParticipate in job safety briefings and follow site-specific safety requirementsMaintain securement tools and equipment in safe, working conditionKeep work areas organized, clean, and compliant with company safety expectationsQualificationsPrevious experience in heavy haul load securement, rigging, or specialized transportation requiredWorking knowledge of DOT load securement regulationsStrong attention to detail and commitment to safe, compliant workAbility to recognize potential hazards and communicate concernsComfortable working on active jobsites and around heavy equipmentStrong communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work outdoors in varying weather conditionsPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift, carry, and secure materials weighing up to 50 lbsAbility to climb on and off trailers, trucks, and loads safelyComfortable working at heights and on uneven surfacesAbility to work in varying weather and field environmentsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experienceComprehensive benefits packageFull-time, stable employmentOpportunity to work on complex heavy haul and rig move operationsSafety-focused work cultureEqual Employment OpportunityWest Penn Heavy Haul LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
