Job Title

This job is responsible for the disassembly, assembly and testing of devices using standardized test equipment and procedures, in a fast-paced production environment where you will perform a variety of repetitive to non-repetitive production operations. This is an onsite role in our Irving, TX facility with a schedule of Monday - Thursday, 6AM - 4:30PM. What will be my duties and responsibilities in this job? * Disassemble and assemble devices using hand tools and/or electrical tools * Test and program devices as needed * Cosmetically visually inspect devise against pre-determined standards * Perform radio frequency (RF) testing of devices using standardized test equipment and procedures * Perform quality control actions using automated tools * Refer to and follow standard operating procedures to perform job duties * Use computer to enter data into the company database * Physically move material as needed * Participate in continuous improvement and team building activities * Perform other duties as assigned What are the requirements needed for this position? * High School diploma or GED required * Strong attention to detail * Basic computer skills, ability to enter data * Knowledge of and ability to maintain 6S standards * Ability to operate automated equipment * Ability to reach and maintain unit per handset (UPH) requirements * Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously * Ability to work independently and in a team environment * Ability to interact effectively and positively with all levels of company personnel What other skills/experience would be helpful to have? * One year of previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment What are the working conditions and physical requirements of this job? * Position requires incumbents to regularly sit or stand, for long periods of time, and operate standard office equipment such as a computer * Position requires incumbents to carry and/or move up to 20 pounds * Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus * Must be able to talk and hear * Required to use hands and fingers, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls.
