Crew Member - 918 eSportsPosition OverviewAs a Crew Member at 918 eSports, you play a key role in creating a fun, safe, and high-energy environment for gamers of all ages. You'll assist customers, maintain equipment, support events, and ensure every guest has an awesome experience from the moment they walk in.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer ExperienceGreet and assist customers with check-in, accounts, and game setupProvide friendly, knowledgeable support for games, PCs, and consolesDeliver food and drinks to customers and handle concessions ordersMaintain a welcoming, positive atmosphere for all guestsFacility OperationsMonitor gaming stations to ensure proper use and care of equipmentTroubleshoot basic technical issues (headsets, peripherals, logins, etc.)Keep the center clean, organized, and ready for guests at all timesEnforce rules and ensure a safe, respectful environmentYouth & Community EngagementInteract professionally with kids, teens, and parentsHelp supervise younger gamers and ensure appropriate behaviorEncourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and positive communicationEvents & ProgramsAssist with birthday parties, tournaments, camps, and lock-insHelp set up and reset stations for eventsSupport coaches and staff during youth esports practices and game daysQualificationsStrong communication and customer service skillsPassion for gaming and basic knowledge of popular titlesAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentComfortable working with children and familiesReliable, punctual, and team-orientedPreferred (Not Required)Experience in customer service, retail, or food serviceFamiliarity with PC gaming and consoles (Xbox, PlayStation, etc.)Interest in esports or competitive gamingExpectationsMaintain a professional and positive attitude at all timesFollow all safety procedures, especially during emergenciesRespond quickly to customer needs and help requestsRepresent 918 eSports with energy and professionalismWork EnvironmentFast-paced, high-energy gaming centerFrequent interaction with kids, teens, and familiesEvening and weekend availability requiredAboutContender eSports is looking for an individual to join our team.
