DescriptionPRN Driver: Delivers meals to JFSA clients and transports clients to and from social and medical appointments.RequirementsDuties and Responsibilities: • Deliver meals timely, in accordance with agency policies and procedures.• Complete all meal deliveries, client signature and other documentation as required, accurately and timely.• Attend mandatory training and in-services.• Escort clients to and from appointments, providing door to door service. Lifting assistive devices where needed.• Ensure clients wear their seatbelts. • Obey all traffic laws, allow enough time for transportation, and ensure there is enough gas in the vehicle.• Transport client to approved, predetermined locations. Do not make unauthorized stops.• Contacts dispatcher and/or Home Delivered Meals Coordinator if unable to drive.• Arrive to pick-up clients in a timely manner to arrive/depart the destination on time.• Properly documents time and related work activities for accurate payroll and program auditing purposes. • Communicate all schedule changes, transportation issues, and delivery interruptions to Home Delivered Meals and Transportation Coordinator,• Demonstrate awareness of, follows all safety policies and procedures, and adheres to all recommended safe work practices. Also contributes to the control of hazards in specified areas of responsibility.Performs other duties as assigned Education/Licensure: High School Graduate preferredMaintain a valid Ohio Driver's License and a driving record that meets JFSA's insurance company standardsMust have a reliable personal automobile available on a daily basis
