School Bus Monitor - AM/PM Routes JobID: 1250 Position Type: Support Staff Date Posted: 1/15/2026 Location: Transportation Date Available: Immediate Closing Date: Open Until Filled Additional Information: Show/Hide Bandera ISD is looking for a dependable and responsible bus monitor to assist the bus driver on AM/PM school bus routes for the 2025-26 school year. Bandera ISD is a 4-Day instructional week district (Mon. - Thurs.) Start Date: Immediate Training provided by Bandera ISD Transportation Department. Requirements: * Must be able to pass the Texas Department of Public Safety Background Safety and Fingerprinting Check * Must have reliable daily transportation to/from work * Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time * Must be able to sit for prolonged periods of time * Must be able to kneel/squat when required/necessary * Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs when required/necessary Interested applicants should contact Mr. Billy Biedermann, BISD Transportation Director, at bbiedermann@ for additional information.
