Ensure timely and complete event setups, and maintain a safe space for all activities. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Direct and supervise daily activities such as work schedules and tasks. Serve as the day-to-day point of contact with the church ministries and departments for recurring and scheduled programs and events. Responsible for overseeing general cleaning, periodic maintenance, and floor care services. Assist in the supervision of Day Porters responsible for housekeeping upkeep, as well as, nightly outsourced cleaning. Serve as a working member of the crew, especially when training new crew members or when activity level is high. Assign work orders and requests. Monitor progress to completion. Manage weekly trips to offsite storage for décor and equipment. Manage the securing and closing of the building at the close of operations. Review work for timeliness and accuracy. Keep logs of completed activity. Note work performance of crew members. Respond to calls and requests from church staff, church members, and guests. Maintain excellent customer service. Report needs for inventory and tools. Assist vendors and contractors as needed. Ensure crew maintains safe work practices and assist in safety training. Other duties as assigned by supervisor. Experience working in and around facilities larger than 50,000 square feet. Project Management certification(s)PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Prolonged periods of standing and sitting. Sitting at a desk or working on a computer. Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
