Job Title

Position Purpose:Provide safe and efficient transport of clients to services and visits.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Transport clients to appointments and visits as requested.• Will take clients to medical screens per placement change.• Transport children to and from school (until DCPS transportation service starts) when foster children are moved from one home to another for emergency respite.• Provides transportation outside of normal (9am - 5pm) business hours, (ie. placement disruptions.)Non-Essential Duties:• Other duties as assigned.• Participates in full staff meetings.• Provides administrative support to include deliveries and photo copying.Qualifications: Valid and violation-free criminal background and driver's license and driving history. Bachelor Degree in Social Work preferred. Combination of education, training and work experience in lieu of degree required. Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal and written. Detail oriented, record keeping skills, proven ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Demonstrated cultural competency and cultural responsiveness.
