USF World is led by a VP and is comprised of units across Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota devoted to promoting education abroad, international student recruitment and admissions, support services for international students and scholars, the management of international partnerships, international travel risk and safety services, management of Peace Corps programming, tracking and documenting international research collaborations and the global footprint of faculty, students and staff, international alumni development and outreach, and the marketing and communication of USF World programs and initiatives. The Communications and Marketing Officer is responsible for developing and producing a wide variety of creative materials and content designed to promote and elevate the University of South Florida's (USF) global reputation. This position plays a key role in supporting USF World's international recruitment goals by executing marketing content, lead-nurturing campaigns, and branded collateral across digital and print channels. The Officer works closely with leadership within the USF World International Recruitment team to ensure marketing materials, website content, and overall branding maintain consistency and align with USF's mission and values. As a professional communicator and designer, the Communications and Marketing Officer will support international marketing and outreach initiatives requiring specialized skills in both digital and print media. The Officer is responsible for crafting targeted messaging and creating marketing collateral to promote USF brand in the global higher education market. Key functions of the position include writing and designing content for use in print, websites, and digital campaigns, and contributing to the execution of an international marketing and recruitment initiatives.
