Doctor of Medicine | Administration Location: New Hampshire, NH Employer: VieMed Healthcare Staffing Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: 8 hours Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Locum - Physician - General Medicine NH Overview: Join Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) as a Locum Physician specializing in General Medicine in New Hampshire. This critical role supports our nation's Veterans by conducting Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments across various locations. Your expertise will directly contribute to timely and accurate evaluations, helping Veterans access the benefits they deserve. Required Skills: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution Valid state medical license for New Hampshire Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine, family medicine, or general medicine Proven experience with general medical assessments and patient interviews Strong understanding of medical documentation and report writing Ability to perform basic physical assessments including range of motion and muscle strength testing Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work independently and adhere to strict timelines Nice to Have Skills: Prior experience with Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams or military-related assessments Familiarity with Veterans’ health issues and benefits processes Certification in specific medical imaging or diagnostic reading Bilingual abilities to assist diverse Veteran populations Preferred Education and Experience: MD or DO degree with licensure in New Hampshire At least 2 years of clinical experience in general or internal medicine Experience conducting medical exams for insurance, military, or government agencies Other Requirements: Own a dedicated office space within a 50-mile radius of the specified locations Willingness to perform one-time exams including interview-based assessments and select physical tests Availability for scheduled days at Lincoln, NH, and Lebanon, NH, once per week Ability to comply with credentialing and onboarding procedures promptly Focus on completing report submissions and administrative follow-up within prescribed timeframes Travel expenses are included in the pay rates; no reimbursement for certifications or portal training is provided upfront Take this opportunity to advance your career in a rewarding and flexible role supporting Veterans.
