In this position, you will utilize strong problem-solving and communication skills to help ensure materials are delivered safely, efficiently, and on time. This role offers a fast-paced and dynamic environment where each day brings new challenges and opportunities to contribute to the success of our team and the satisfaction of our customers.Primary Responsibilities Monitor and assist with Redi-Mix truck schedules to maximize efficiency and ensure smooth, timely deliveries. Take customer orders for Redi-Mix concrete by phone or in person and enter them accurately into the system. Communicate regularly with drivers, plant operators, dispatch staff, and managers to coordinate schedules and adjust routes in real time. Review and validate customer work orders to ensure all information is complete and accurate. Monitor truck efficiency through dispatch and trucking systems. Provide customers with delivery updates and proactively communicate any schedule changes. Analyze and respond to changing conditions such as weather, traffic, job site delays, or equipment availability. Work closely with the dispatch team to align truck availability with customer demand. Serve as a backup to dispatch by assisting with preparing and distributing the daily truck list and schedule. Maintain accurate records and documentation related to orders, deliveries, and dispatch activities. Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support operational needs. Position RequirementsQualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED required.Experience: Experience in the construction, trucking, or transportation industry is preferred but not required.Knowledge of the local area and basic map-reading/navigation skills.Strong organizational and time management abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn dispatch or trucking software systems.Ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Willingness to work overtime as needed.Physical Demands & Work EnvironmentAbility to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally.Work is primarily performed in an office environment, requiring extended periods of sitting and/or standing at a desk.Frequent communication with drivers, plant staff, and customers throughout the day.Equal Opportunity EmployerHaas Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
