Get to Know Your Team: * Hillcrest Hospital Cushing is a 99-bed community-owned facility offering 24-hour emergency services, cardiology, general surgery, orthopedics, diagnostic imaging, withdrawal stabilization, wound care and urology. * This position is accountable for operating the C.T. scanner, transportation of patients to and from the department, handling telephone scheduling of inpatients and outpatients. * The incumbent is responsible for calling the physician with the report of the exam. Must be able to start an IV line to administer contrast fluid. * Must demonstrate knowledge of contrast media injections and reactions. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate proficiency in operating the PACS computer system. * Will participate in performance improvement initiatives. * Will assist with other activities as deemed necessary for the day to day operation of the department. Job Requirements: * Vocational/Technical education. * Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) or registry eligible. * BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. Preferred Job Requirements: * 1 year of experience.
