There is great skill involved in making those appliances!We are looking for a few career-oriented people who are looking for long-term positions and want to make a difference in peoples' lives. We create smiles for children and adults by making custom-fit, hand-made appliances per their Orthodontist's prescription. The work requires a high degree of skill and precision while using equipment like hand tools, bench lathes, electric welding machines, flame soldering machines, machine polishers, and precision model trimmers.If you enjoy working with your hands, are good with small pieces and are very detail oriented this may be the career for you!SCHEDULE: First Shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM BENEFITS AVAILABLE INCLUDE:Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance (after 90 days)Short-term Disability, Long-term Disability, AD&D and Life Insurance Policies (after 90 days)Paid Vacations (after 1 year)9 Paid Company Holidays (after 90 days)Bonus Plan401(k) with Company MatchRequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:High school diploma, GED equivalency, or currently enrolledExperience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment a plusAbility to understand and interpret work instructionsHigh attention to detail and good organizational skillsProficiency working with small parts, hand tools, and other small equipment preferredGood eye-hand coordination, with the ability to see details at close rangeGood manual dexterity, with the ability to perform and coordinate steady hand and arm movementGood communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work collaborativelyAbility to sit and/or stand for extended periods depending upon task being performedAbility to walk and carry parts, materials, etc. between departmentsCOMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS:Reliable and consistent attendance and punctualityDesign and manufacture custom orthodontic devices including removable and fixed appliances such as retainers, night guards, expanders, space maintainers, and custom trays based on the orthodontist's specification/designAbility to understand prescription and manufacture dental appliances per Doctor's designInterpret dental impressions, molds, or digital scans to create accurate models and ensure that the appliances meet the specific requirements of each patientOperate specialized equipment, including handpieces, dental lathes, CAD/CAM software, 3D printers, and laser welders, to produce precise orthodontic appliancesConduct thorough inspections of all appliances to ensure they meet high standards of quality, functionality, and aestheticsWork with various orthodontic materials, including wires, plastics, and resins, to create durable and safe appliancesMaintain accurate records of production, materials used, and case progression for each patientAbility to meet or exceed production requirements for areas of assignmentAbility to produce products that meet or exceed quality requirements for area of assignmentFollow all safety requirements and wear appropriate PPE as requiredAbility to understand and follow requirements of the quality systemSafeguard and protect confidentiality of company and patient information as defined by the company's Confidentiality AgreementUnderstand how one's performance can impact the success of the organization and product qualityAbility to use computer for scanning and to navigate through company intranetEQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
