An infusion center in North Texas is urgently seeking an experienced sterile compounding pharmacy technician for a temp-to-hire opportunity. This role requires a top-tier technician with strong expertise in aseptic technique and sterile compounding to provide critical backfill support. The goal is long-term employment following a 13+ week contract. Location: Dallas, TX (3409 Worth Street, Suite 740) Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday 8-hour shift within 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (exact shift TBD) Responsibilities: Prepare sterile IV admixtures including TPN, antibiotics, chemotherapy, and specialty infusions in strict compliance with USP and standards Accurately label, package, and stage compounded products for pharmacist verification and timely delivery Maintain cleanroom sterility via appropriate garbing, environmental cleaning routines, and documentation Manage IV medication and supply inventory effectively Complete detailed compounding logs, batch records, and quality control documentation Perform additional tasks as directed by a licensed pharmacist Qualifications: Active Texas Pharmacy Technician License Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification IV Certification required Minimum 2 years of recent sterile compounding experience (3+ years preferred) Minimum 4 years of recent overall pharmacy technician experience This position demands a highly skilled sterile compounding technician who rigorously follows aseptic protocols.
